Ludlow Neighborhood Block Watch

Suspicious activity on Belvedere - Be Vigilant
Author Last Post
In the future there needs to be more specificity - the exact location/address as to where the activity is happening - not just on "Belvedere">. How far in either direction did the individuals walk. Also, others who live on the block, but are not watchers, may have seen individuals walking but thought nothing off it.
They were there for 7 minutes and patrol cars were too late? The third
precinct is less than a minute away.

Last night around 3:45 AM a white sedan car with dark windows parked in front of our house. 4 individuals came out of the car, 2 went up the street and 2 went down the street walking very purposely. They were wearing backpacks. They did not seem to be interested in cars but seemed to be more interested in breaking in houses. I called 911 and while I was on the phone with the dispatcher the 2 guys who went up the street joined the other 2. They stayed for about 7 minutes then went back in the car after putting something in the trunk and left. The police send 3 cars to patrol a few minutes later but too late. It was a really scary sight as I have no doubt that they were looking to break in. these guys looked really professional!
